Liza Fawcett
Liza
Liza Fawcett completed her 200-hour Teacher Training Program in March of 2008 at Welkin, and has been teaching Yoga for two years. Liza continually looks to deepening her practice through reading, workshops, attending other teacher's classes, and the Meditation Teacher Training Program offered at Welkin.  Currently she teaches Classical Yoga and Restorative Yoga at Welkin, and  also enjoys bringing Yoga into people's workplaces by teaching corporate Yoga classes. When she is not teaching or practicing Yoga she enjoys spending time with her 5-year-old daughter and fiancee. She also enjoys walking in nature, meditation, and running.

Glenys Causton
Glenys has been studying yoga for 7 ½ years. She completed her 200-hour certification at Welkin in 2008 . Her special interests lie in Sivananda yoga and exploration of the ways that asana and pranayama can be used to extend range of motion and flexibility. She is currently pursuing additional qualifications in teaching meditation.
Glenys invites everyone to come out to Classical "Light". This class is aimed at the beginning student who wishes to gradually expand flexibility and more experienced students who want to move at a more relaxed pace. Glenys will draw on sequences from Gary Kraftsow and Barbara Benaugh that focus on specific areas, such as hips and back, to release tension and promote expansion in range of motion. Sivananda Yoga incorporates a basic roster of 12 classical asanas that bend and twist the body in every direction. Woven around the physical practice is chanting, pranayama, relaxation, and meditative focus to promote spiritual development.

Amy-Lynne Smith
Amy
Amy-lynne invites you to envision a sancturary that supports the growth of your child in mind and body. Not only will the body be stretched but there will also be an opening of the mind and heart. Kids' Yoga encourages self-confidence, calmness, concentration, and kindness through poses, breath, game play, sound, stories, relaxation, and meditation. Children LOVE physical play. It comes naturally to them. This class is suitable for ages 4-12. Some open discussion also helps children learn how to apply yoga as a tool for stress management. Amy-lynne is established in teaching yoga to her 4-year-old daughter Zen and is looking forward to sharing yoga with other children. Amy-lynne graduated from 200-hour Teacher Training in 2009 and will be continuing her education with the Meditation Teacher Training Program

Darlene Trottier ~ Nia Dance Teacher
I felt an instant connection to Nia and an awakening of my spirit at my first Nia class in 1999. I was inspired to take a White Belt training in 2003, and have enjoyed part-time Nia teaching since then. Nia is a brilliant parallel to my Kindermusik teaching, as I am blessed with opportunities to play with both children and adults in awakening and activating mind, body, and spirit every day.
What is Nia?
“Watch out - this can change your life!"
                                                    —Carlos Rosas, Nia co-founder

A dynamic blend of dance arts, martial arts and healing arts, Nia revolutionized the face of fitness in 1983, and has since changed millions of lives and bodies across the globe.
