Welkin YogaLife's programs and workshops hold the intention of helping members and the community at large shift in the direction of greater awareness and well-being. Through simple lessons, discussions, personal reflection, and small group chats, each individual is met where s/he is and inspired to grow in the direction of health and bliss.
Meditation is one of the hardest endeavours for a human being. Sitting still is easy. Meditating every day sounds easy but there are a host of reasons why meditation is difficult. This program offers:
- Facing the issues that lie beneath feeling that you are a “busy person”
- Learning to embrace discipline and routine as a blessing
- Learning to forgive memories of the past
- Develop a healthy relationship to your future goals
- Coping and understanding your daily emotions
- Noticing what desires drive your life
- Facing personal life issues for yourself and/or loved ones
Meditation is a lifelong art. Cultivating patience helps with the tendency toward instant gratification. Community support nurtures prolonged inspiration - the majority of successful meditators find group support essential. At the course’s conclusion, Welkin YogaLife will continue the Tuesday night practice sessions for those who gravitate to that program.
